EA's play4xmas

Visited London today for EA's play4xmas event to preview some of EA's latest games and pre-releases! The wife and I being Sims fans, we had a great interest in Sims 3 World Adventures. He had a play around one of the destinations available, being Egypt. I'm hoping I'm going to be able to get some proper screen shots of the game shortly.

There was of course much more than just The Sims. One of the games previewing was Need for Speed Nitro, which has been developed for the Wii from the ground up, it's not a port from another console. The game play of NFS Nitro is very good, the controls are real simple and allows anyone to play. You wont get frustrated because you're last, you'll be enjoying yourself too much from the race. I know I had a great time playing this, and may actually buy it when it's out. Did I mention that there will be a version of NFS Nitro for the iPhone/iPod Touch?

Both the wife and I had a great time! Here's some more photos for you to enjoy ...

Countdown to Montréal

We're officially on countdown until the big move from Littlehampton, UK to Montréal, Québec, Canada. 51 days as my wife says! Both the wife and I are really looking forward to it now that I have my residence visa.

As you can imagine, there's quite a bit to do before the big move, such as cancelling services such as phone, water, gas and electricity companies, not to mention the Internet, satellite TV, TV license and council tax. We've also got to provide notice on our house, this is something we're doing this coming week.

Both the wife and I have handed in our notices at work, we're applying for a export certificate for our cat (yes, he's coming with us) ... argh! .. just so much to do!

Of course that hard bit, saying goodbye to all my friends and family. We'll miss you all, but that doesn't mean we won't be back to visit!
